Introduction:
The Post graduate department of studies in Commerce was established in 2016. The department accords top priority towards creation of commerce graduates with strong Commerce fundamentals, skills and right aptitude. Along with curriculum, the department provides an extensive learning experience through a plethora of channels, including industrial visits, invited lectures from field experts, case studies, projects, workshops, seminars, innovative classroom activities and beyond classrooms. The program offers two specializations, i.e., Taxation and Financial Management and Investment Science. The department also offers PhD programme from the year 2021. This department has maximum number of P.G. students in the campus. The PG student of Commerce has the advantage of pursuing career in academics, research or alternatively, in professional areas of commerce and finance such as taxation, consultancy and financial services. M.Com graduates have wide job opportunities in India and abroad.
