Master of Business Administration in Tourism and Travel Management is a 2-year postgraduate program commenced in the year 2015 with the motto of introducing students to the travel and tourism service sector and to help them in making a career out of it. One needs to possess a bachelor’s degree with 45% in any stream from a recognized university to get admission to this program. MBA in Tourism and Travel program encourages students to employ themselves in various catering, hotel, tourism, industry, and administration related jobs. Education Tour and Internship are the integral part of this Program. In addition to the core curriculum, the program offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality and employability.
PROGRAMMES OFFERED
M.B.A (Tourism and Travel Management)
1. Eligibility for admission to Master of Business Administration (Tourism & Travel Management) is a pass in any bachelor’s degree examination of Mangalore University or other University considered as equivalent thereto with not less than 40% in respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and category- I candidates and not less than 45% of the aggregate including language subjects for others.
2. Mode of Selection: Admission shall be based on Merit cum reservation basis.
(Merit shall be determined based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and marks obtained in the admission test in the ratio of 50:50.)
