Introduction

Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1949. Since then it can boast of having eminent teachers like Prof. G.T. Narayana Rao and Prof. Yalavigi who have carved a name of their own in the history of the college. Also very good scholars and teachers like Dr. Gowri Navada, Mr. Subramanya Bhat and Dr. Asha S.K have served in this college.  At present department has one Assistant Professor Dr. Rajendra R and two Lecturers viz. Smt. Ramya K.S and Ms. Jayalakshmi K.N.

Vision:  Expose young minds to the excitement of doing Mathematics, promote independent mathematical thinking and prepare them for higher aspects of Mathematics.
