The Department of Commerce and Management, was established in the year 1985. Since then, the department has steadily grown and achieved several milestones with the commitment and hard work of the faculty. The department has Four permanent teaching faculty who are the driving force behind the success of academic programmes. There are also 14 qualified Guest faculties who efficiently complement remaining workload in the department. The department is headed by Dr. Shailashree K.
PROGRAMMES OFFERED
The department offers programmes B. Com, B.B.A. and B.Com – Vocational (Computer Application). Alongside the regular classroom teaching, the department conducts various intra – class, inter-class and inter – collegiate activities in order to enable the students to improve their life skills. The department regularly organizes workshops to help the students in updating their knowledge on latest topics. Students are exhorted to go on observational studies and field visits in order to augment their classroom learning. The syllabus is continuously updated keeping in mind the changes and development in the core and allied fields.
